Here we go again. New year,  new resolutions,  new hopes, new dreams,  new opportunities, new challenges and new tests.  I enjoy the beginning of a new year, as it allows me to dream. Not just dream, but put new plans in place to make my dreams come true.  Sometimes it can be fun and scary at the same time. Which is it for you?

In talking with past clients, friends and colleagues, one of the most common goals for the new year is getting their finances in order.  Is that one of your goals? If so, let me suggest that you start by organizing your financial file cabinet.  Seems simple enough, but, like many things in life, simple is best.  Organize your bills, understand your expenditures,  create an investment account and seek help if necessary. If it’s confusing and scary, don’t go it alone.  They say that confused people do nothing. Please do something, but do it carefully.
