Green River School of Yoga Join Kali Brgant and Margaret Pitkin for a 200 hour Yoga Alliance Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in Hyde Park, VT at Moonlight Studios!
Kali holds her M.A. in Counseling Psychology and Margaret has her doctorate in Physical Therapy, together they offer a comprehensive review of yogic wisdom enhanced by modern psychology, coupled with up-to-date anatomy and physiology. This interdisciplinary yoga training will dive into the depths of yoga philosophy, postures, and practice, as well as invoke enriching insights in what it means to be human.
We will also be joined by special guests teachers, Patty Dansereau, who specializes in trauma sensitive and kids yoga, as well as Alexandra Martin who shares her innate wisdom through movement expression and song.

Testimonials "The training with Margaret and Kali provided a safe, supportive container and time to step away from my daily life to heal, transform, learn and grow. Because the training spanned over a few seasons it allowed for time between our gatherings to integrate and assimilate fully all that was shifting inside of me and the information I was receiving, in a non-pressured environment. It was a perfect balance of masculine/feminine, yin/yang approaches. The program they have created together has exceptional magic and synergy because of their unique backgrounds and approaches. The waves, openings, portals of emotional, physical, spiritual expansion that I experienced, awakened my being and the foundation they created grounded me and the cosmic energy/awareness I was experiencing! I now feel embodied and empowered to teach yoga in a professional way that is both intuitive and authentic to me. I feel honored, clear, and confident in my individual path and a resolution of duality and previous confusion inside of me. I feel an overall sense of completion, distilling of what is truly important to me and what I want to pass on and share with others through the ancient lens and practice of yoga. I am eternally grateful for the teachings given to me refining my life due to the patience and balance I have learned from these wise womyn teachers!" -Marika Isom, Burlington VT
"I wanted to make a personal recommendation for Green River School of Yoga's 200 hour yoga instructor training. If you've ever considered becoming a yoga instructor and sharing your journey and love for yoga with others I can't speak highly enough for Kali and Margaret's course. The knowledge, experience, and formal education that they bring to the course has provided me with the confidence and knowledge to begin teaching myself. I feel fully prepared having learned about the body, anatomy (Margaret graduates next month with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and her knowledge of how to keep the body SAFE during practice has been invaluable), culture, poses (to include benefits/contraindications, and a variety of modifications to accommodate different ages, stages, injuries and afflictions). The class size is perfect and we've become a pretty tight-knight bunch of women sharing a wonderful experience. The final weekend includes a retreat!" - Tatiana Wright, Wolcott VT
